Hair Coloring Questions, Answered
Do I need a toner and what is it?
A toner is a way for colorists to neutralize any unwanted undertones during a color service, and reintroudcing the color or hue we want to see as a result. We usually do recommend getting a toner as it is included in our highlight and single process services already.
How long does the color last?
Great question! A professional hair coloring service is meant to last depending on the desired outcome. For single processes, we recommend a retouch appointment every 6 weeks, highlight appointments can last three to six months! Our hair coloring and planning is catered to a combination of lifestyle factors./p>
How do I book my first appointment?

Should I book an in-person or virtual consultation?
If you are getting a color correction, transformation, or extension service, in-person consults are required. However, if you are getting a highlight, single process, or glaze/toner, a virtual or in-person consultation is totally fine. The point of the consultation is to determine the correct service to book and briefly discuss your goals.

Kasthetix Beauty is a private studio at 222 E 34th St, Ste 5, in Murray Hill / Midtown East — a short walk from Midtown offices. Color, highlights, transformations, balayage, and extensions by appointment.
