Kasthetix Beauty and Salon is a midtown hair salon offering a central, highly accessible location for clients who may initially search for a Soho hair salon, but want something easier to reach from multiple parts of the city. The studio is just a few train stops uptown from Soho on the 6 line and conveniently located near Grand Central, Murray Hill, Kips Bay, and Flatiron. This makes it an ideal choice for professionals moving between neighborhoods or commuting through Manhattan who want high-level services without navigating crowded downtown salons.
Hair Extension Questions, Answered
Which method of extensions should I chose?
Great question! Before any install is done, we always have an in-person consultation to best determine which method is the best fit. Beaded sewn in wefts are great for people who want easily removable extensions, spend less time in the salon and want to add volume, length or both. Keratin Tip extensions are great for clients who want longer lasting extensions, a near invisible attachment point, and less in salon maintenance. Keratin (fusion) bonded extensions also are the most natural and longest lasting. Many clients chose a combination of both to suite their needs.
How do I book my first appointment?

Should I book an in-person or virtual consultation?
If you are getting a color correction, transformation, or extension service, in-person consults are required. However, if you are getting a highlight, single process, or glaze/toner, a virtual or in-person consultation is totally fine. The point of the consultation is to determine the correct service to book and briefly discuss your goals.

Kasthetix Beauty is a private studio at 222 E 34th St, Ste 5, in Murray Hill / Midtown East — a short walk from Midtown offices. Color, highlights, transformations, balayage, and extensions by appointment.
